Hey Mega Crew,
I can't thank your event crew, support staff and volunteers enough...they all made it a fantastic experience. Thanks sooooo much!!
WOW!!!! This event is DANGEROUS!!! I love it...you have to be incredibly focused to get yourself through this event in one piece. I dont think my foot ever landed flat on the ground except for the blacktop. So now I know why it is advertised as an ultrahike not "ultrarun"...speaking of run, my hats off to all those fast folks who make it through there without killing themselves...
The Mega blew away all my expectations, the course was very challenging, very beautiful and had a good mix of terrain to run, walk, crawl , skid, slip, bounce, roll, or whatever else it took to get to the finish.
It was the most fun I have had getting my a** kicked...Thanks again!!
I predict a one or two day sell out in 2010...

Question for anyone...

I heard this is one of the more difficult trail events east of the Mississippi ? Can anyone with lots of trail experience confirm this... I am interested in doing different (50k and 50 mile) ultras on the east coast, so I would appreciate some good feedback??
